Frequently Asked Questions

Buckeye Clinic is here to answer any questions you might have about addiction treatment. The following are a few questions we are commonly asked. If there’s a specific question you can’t find the answer to, please contact us and we can assist.

Is outpatient rehab the best choice for me?
Buckeye Clinic provides Level One outpatient care, which usually involves weekly visits. Some patients may need more intense care, such as Level Two (intensive outpatient – several hours a week) or Level Three (inpatient). Our trained staff will help you determine what Level of Care is the best fit for you.
What kind of counseling is provided?
Buckeye Clinic provides in-depth individual counseling to help patients achieve a holistic recovery. Group sessions will become available again when social distancing is no longer required.
Who is the typical patient?
Most patients seek treatment for Opioid Use Disorder, but medication assisted treatment is also available for other Substance Use Disorders such as alcoholism. Some patients are treated for chronic pain because Suboxone also provides pain relief without the side effects of other opioids.
What should I expect once I start my addiction treatment program?
First, we’ll get you checked in, perform a basic exam, undergo mental health assessments with a therapist and your suboxone doctor, and then we begin the  drug addiction recovery process together.

You can read more about what to expect at every stage of your outpatient drug treatment program.
